These Are The Hands

My poem 'Blue Team' has been published in These Are The Hands: Poems from the Heart of the NHS. This is an anthology of poems edited by Dr Katie Amiel, a GP from Hackney, and Deborah Alma, lecturer in creative writing at Keele University.

The Blue Team were the team of nurses who looked after my dad at St Catherine's Hospice in Scarborough. I offered the editorial team this photograph for the front cover of their book, but they declined.

All proceeds go to the NHS Charities COVID Appeal.
